More Cards
The thing about cards;
they can be made quite easily without consuming very much time at all, yet they always turn out pretty good.
So while I was at it (with my Valentine's card and all) I made some more.
This pink one is an "It's a girl!"-card. The girl in question is a rabbit. The couple who just adopted this tiny ball of fur and ears and big eyes was determent to get a boy, until they stood there in the store and this little rabbit girl stole their heart. Therefore I found it funny to give them a card like this.
This one I made together with my brother. I designed the format and did the cutting, gluing and lettering, he chose the colors, the materials and which stickers to use for decorating it. It is nicely decorated on the inside to, but I didn't photograph that. It's a birthday card for my Grandmother who turned 75 years yesterday. Hurray! And who's at the hospital being monitored after a heart attack at the moment. What a way to celebrate one's birthday... My Mum and uncle visited her bringing our gifts and cake though. She's doing fine.

Happy Valentine's day
Boyfriend and I had agreed to do a simple Valentine just hanging out together. We're gonna do a more extravagant date during our easter vacation.
But I had to give him a card. At least.
So I made this.
I found a pattern in my friend's magazine, though I did some alterations, and she borrowed me some yarn and Aida.
(He got me an adorable card, a phone strap featuring GaMERCaT (or at least a cat remarkably similar) and some candy).

Bookmark
I made myself a bookmark!
I'm creative and productive, yay.
I got thousands of bookmarks already (alright, not thousands, but a whole lot) and I'm using them all.
Yes, I'm that kind of crooked person who reads several books at the same time.
But the other day I was one bookmark short. (using postcards, receipts or napkins as bookmarks is too boring ;P)
So I found some printed paper, stole some Aida from a friend and glued it together with a bit of ribbon and some beads. I don't have the money for buying cross stitch patterns at the time, so I got inspired by this and improvised.

Coasters
My desk was covered in rings of juice and whatnot. Some months ago I decided that something had to be done. And so I made myself a coaster. And then one for my sister and then one for my brother. And what material fits this purpose better than good old Perler Beads? I used to make Mom these when I was a kid and get mad at her if she didn't use them. I was adorable really.
They're made on a squared board-thingie, though. 'Cause that's what I could find. And yet I wanted them to be round. And now I've used all the useful colors, so if anyone else ever wanted one, they'd have to wait until I can afford buying more beads.
For the text to make sense, you have to first read downwards, then the red character and then from left to right.
Some of them got a little crooked when I ironed them. But they do their work, and my desk is clean!
I thought I was too grown up for Perler Beads, but it's still fun! Just proves that one should never really let oneself be too grown up for anything.

Birthday card for my classmate
It's Timcanpy from D.Gray-man, I borrowed the manga from her during summer, and I know she loves it, so I found it fitting. It's made of colored paper, glue and ink. She said she loved it, and that was the main purpose behind it so then I'm happy about it too.
Again?
Yes. This is my second blog dedicated to my "art", crafts and adventures.
But this whole business of keeping several separate blogs as one person and still moderate them all is so much easier here at blogspot.
So yes, I'll try again.
